After our first month of getting things rolling, we are pleased to announce that whilst our final website is being created, we have setup a lovely new one to take its place for the meantime:

New Service Available....

In addition to our standard packages, we now have a design service which is dealt with via email and phone communication.

This is particularly useful for a couple with a hectic schedule who cannot commit to face to face meetings with us/or people who do not live close by but still require our help.

This package would include the creation of 3 idea/style boards based upon your criteria given and the sourcing of vendors/suppliers local to you which you can then go ahead and book. This design package covers everything from wedding reception ideas/venues/decoration to potential photographers, transport, musicians, florists and all the details in between.

Basically, we create the dream wedding on your behalf and then all you have to do is book and pay the individual vendors we find for you. So really, all the leg work is done by us, we are just not there in person to do so as we work via telephone and email conversations.

Why did you become a wedding planner?
Ever since I was little I have been in love with weddings. I guess my fascination started when I was really quite young. My little sister and I used to love dressing up so we often played weddings at home with tablecloths as veils, walking up and down our hallway pretending to get married to our imaginary husbands!! As I got older, I just found myself swept up in the romance and everlasting love that weddings symbolize. I am definitely a very romantic person and this has just fuelled my love for everything wedding related.

What’s your USP?
Other than my passion for this industry my strength would have to be my creativity. I love to create a dream scenario for someone and then help to bring it to life. With weddings in particular this is something that is very important.

How would your clients describe you?
I hope that they would describe me as imaginative, helpful, passionate and organized as these are the most important qualities for a wedding coordinator.

How do you unwind?
A chilled glass of wine always helps to unwind but if I am completely honest, my weakness is definitely being snuggled on the sofa with a good girlie movie, PJ’s and a bar of chocolate. Not a lot of things can match that!

If you could plan a celebrity wedding (alive or dead) whose would it be?
I would have loved to organize Grace Kelly’s wedding to the Prince of Monaco. She was so incredibly beautiful and organizing a Royal wedding is my absolute idea of heaven.

Is the job as glamorous as you thought?
I’ve never really thought about that actually. It’s just something I love doing and it makes me very happy.

What themes are you working on for 2009?
This year there will be a focus on the key gemstone colours for us here at Enchanted Events. We want to focus on the opulence and dramatic colour schemes from precious gems. We are focusing on: Delicate rose quartz and peridot for springtime. Cool and beach like Aquamarine and Sapphires for the summer. Rich rubies and fiery amber for autumn. Sparkling diamonds and opal for wintertime.

Today I was reminded of a beautiful song called 'Better Man' by the wonderful James Morrison that I knew I had to share with you all. It is so incredibly moving and the words were really beautifully written.

Where The Magic Begins.....

Here at Enchanted Events, we believe in the personal touch. This is echoed very strongly in the way we work and how our company is run. After all, we wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the love and support of our family and friends.

Because of this we try to make every wedding we create truly unique. We feel it is important to get to know our couples before launching into battle creating their big day. We want to know what makes each person tick, what their passions are and if they have any special talents or hobbies.

These gems of information can be very useful in making sure that their big day is unlike any other and something very personal to them.

Therefore we encourage and insist that our couples come and meet with us for cosy chat at a FREE initial consultation.

We do have a varying price structure based upon each couples requirements so where possible we try to work to 4 simple packages:

Welcome to the blog for Enchanted Events :)

We are a new business in Southampton specialising in Wedding Co-ordination and Design. We offer stylish, beautiful and entirely unique wedding coordination for couples on all budgets.

To us, there are no limitations on creating your perfect day and we love a challenge! We believe we can create a dream celebration for any number of guests, in any style and on any budget.

We offer 3 set packages for those who have a more traditional idea in mind, or for those of you who are more creative or maybe need a little more help in realising your dream then we also offer a fully bespoke service. Think pay-as-you-go for this one! You can pick and choose what you would like to include in your co-ordination experience.
